ASSET DEVELOPMENT VIDEO PROJECT

The Atascadero Youth Task Force has received a grant to develop a community awareness of the Asset Development Philosophy. Every one can build assets. This grant will be used to develop a video based on local youth and adults and their perspective of the concepts and what each can do to help develop assets in the communities young people. Volunteer participated in video taped forums which identified areas where youth and adults agree or disagree. The project is now in the editing and production phase.  CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS is going to provide the expertise to develop the video and several 30 second video spots to be aired on the cable channels.   These spots are going to be designed with the goal of informing the community both adults and youth of the asset development philosphy and its importance to healthy youth.  The longer video is going to be used to take this philosophy to the community through presentations at community groups Churches, service clubs and other public forums. Rick Mathews is chairing this exciting and important project.
