CONCERT SERIES RESINATION JUNE 21ST AT THE POOR RICHARD’S PRESS For
over three years, Resination has been delivering rootical rhythms and
conscious lyrics to the RAIL JULY 5TH First time Saturday in the Park, Summer Concert Series
performers, Rail will bring a blues/rock influence to the stage on Saturday,
July 5th. The band consists of drummer and percussionist Richard
Jordan, lead vocalist George Taylor, keyboardist Bill Pope, bassist Steve
Denes and guitarist Randy Allen. With tribute to greats such as Tom
Petty, Chicago, ZZ Top, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more, Rail will
rock the park with an energetic and lively performance. THE GUY BUDD BAND July 12th from AT THE SPRINKLER KING The band features Guy Budd on guitar & vocals, Rafael
Santos on drums, Andy Kulikowski on bass & vocals, and Anthony Hunt on
keyboard & vocals. Guy Budd has been performing on the UP IN THE AIR July 19th from IN THE Up in the Air is a local SLO-grown, worldbeat band that
performs a unique and exciting brand of all original music; with John Beccia
doing vocals and switching between nylon string guitar and keyboards; Larry
Hoffman playing flute, sax, recorder, or harmonica; Goeff Land blowing on
trumpet; Brian Stark laying down bass; Bobbie Smith contributing lead vocals,
harmonies, and percussion; Victor Rocha grooving on Latin and African
percussion; and Rich Dalton rocking steady on trap drums. The band
covers a wide range of material and creates a danceable, refreshing blend of

Come and check out over 400
classic cars cruisin’ down El Camino Real, from Rosario rto Curbaril. It’s a
fun, wholesome family oriented event for cruisers and spectators. The
Atascadero Main Street Association will be hosting a freee concert in the
Sunken Garden’s Park at the completion of the cruise. The band will be
performing from 8:30 to 10:30 and there will be assorted food, beverage and
merchant vendor booths set-up in and around the park for the entire family to
enjoy.

about community service organizations in Atascadero, as well as a time for

Atascadero
Wine Festival and Golf Tournament
June
25 & 26, 2004
This exciting weekend kicks off Friday
morning with the Wine Festival Golf Tournament, a scramble format at Chalk
Mountain Golf Course. Your registration will include green fees, cart, prizes,
and lunch. Proceeds will benefit the Chamber of Commerce Education Scholarship
Program.
The Atascadero Wine Festival takes place Friday
and Saturday. The majority of the proceeds go to benefit the Charles Paddock
ZOO. On Friday evening enjoy a five-course winemaker dinner, wonderful San Luis
Obispo County wines, a Champagne Social Hour, and silent auction.
The lakeside wine tasting and fine arts
festival held Saturday afternoon at the Atascadero Lake Park from 11:30 am to
4:00 pm, will feature wines of over 30 San Luis Obispo County wineries.

of Commerce and others will be sponsoring the Tuesday Night in the park BBQs,
featuring delicious sirloin and chicken barbecued to perfection, by the
Atascadero Elks Lodge famous BBQ crew. Entertainment will include the the
Atascadero Community Band 7:00 to 8:00 pm, displays of the Atascadero Art
Association, volleyball tournaments and the pedal boats for rent.

do you get when you combine police canine, special weapons and tactics (SWAT),
and bomb squad demonstrations; displays of unique DARE vehicles; hot dogs and
sodas; and fun filled games and activities for families and children in a
street carnival atmosphere all in one location? It is the annual Atascadero
Police Department’s “K-9’s in the Park” fundraising event. This fund raiser
supports funds for dog replacement, the DARE program, the Explorer Post and
Volunteers. Come have fun, learn how these police special project work in the
community and support your local police.
